In 1999 Best Wings of Memphis was established by owner and active manage Curtis Chism Sr., a born and raised native of Memphis, TN. Mr. Chism comes from a rooted background in the food service industry. He was introduced into the food service industry in 1976. Shadowing his older siblings quickly gained him the experience and awarded him with prestige knowledge on food service and entrepreneurship.

Although, he started behind the scene in the food industry he always had a passion for cooking inspired by Moma Chism authentic recipes and indulgent home style southern cuisine. His curiosity led to creating and experimenting with dishes, spices, and recipes which later birth the idea of opening a restaurant. February 1999 Curtis Chism Sr. opened the doors of Best Wings of Memphis. He was one of the first pioneers to brand whole chicken wings as buffalo style. He created an indulgent menu that caters to every guest offering an original variety flavor of wings, farmed raised catfish, and his award winning Blue Ribbon spaghetti.

11 plus years later, Mr. Chism decided to expand his brand and passion by opening another location in the heart of Memphis most tourist attraction area Elvis Presley Blvd. Best Wings #2 Grand Opening was February, 4 2010. Thanks to the loyal customers Best Wings #2 has been a success from the very start. The Grand Opening was highlighted in Spirit Magazine applauding Curtis Chism Sr. for his outstanding work and achievements. Best Wings serves various customers & private cater invents including Tourists Groups, The MED, FedEx, Memphis Health Department, and North West Airlines only to name a few. They have also catered wedding receptions and a host of well-known renowned churches spread across the Mid-South area.
